Who is responsible
Lisbon Quad Tours is operated by Parrotpotential Lda, the controller for enquiries and bookings handled by our team. For privacy questions or requests, email geral@thewalkingparrot.com.
What this website collects
The date-request form prepares a message on your device. It does not submit the form to our server or save the entered details on this website. The sunset and private-tour enquiry form also prepares your experience preference, optional date, group size, selected ideas and any notes locally. Please avoid sensitive personal information in these notes. Opening WhatsApp or your email app passes your prepared message to that service; you decide whether to send the message. If you contact us, we receive the contact details and information you choose to share, such as your name, telephone number, email address, requested date and booking reference. Please do not send payment-card details or identity documents through this form.
Online bookings
The quad and buggy booking links open a secure checkout hosted by Peek. Peek collects the contact details, selected activity, date, time and vehicle quantity needed for the booking. Payment information is entered into the provider’s checkout and handled by its payment provider, rather than collected by this website. We receive booking and transaction information needed to deliver and manage your tour. Review the Peek privacy notice and the notices shown in checkout before entering information. Any optional marketing choices are separate from your booking.
Why we use information
We use enquiry and booking information to answer your questions, check availability, arrange your tour and handle changes or cancellations. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a contract and performing a booking contract. Records required for accounting or other legal duties are processed to meet those obligations. Necessary technical access logs, including IP addresses, requested pages, access times and browser information, support delivery and security of the website on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating and protecting it.
Who receives information
Access is limited to the team and service providers involved in responding to your request and delivering the tour, including the relevant guide and hosting or communication providers. The public website is hosted by OVHcloud. WhatsApp, email, Google Maps, Instagram and GetYourGuide are separate services. Following a link takes you to that service, where its own privacy notice applies. Some providers may process information outside the European Economic Area; consult the relevant provider notice for its transfer arrangements. You can choose email instead of WhatsApp.
How long information is kept
Enquiry information is retained only for as long as needed to answer and follow up your request. Booking and transaction records are kept for the periods required for accounting, legal obligations and resolving claims. Technical logs are retained for the period necessary for website delivery, security and investigating faults. The applicable retention criteria depend on whether an enquiry becomes a booking and whether an outstanding legal obligation or claim requires preservation. Cookies and tracking
The commercial pages do not load analytics or advertising trackers, embed social feeds or maps, or set analytics or marketing cookies. Fonts and photographs are hosted with the website. The Peek calendar and payment page load only after you follow a booking link. Peek and its payment providers may use their own cookies and third-party tools on that page, under the choices and notices presented there. Other external services you choose to visit may also use their own cookies.
Your rights
Subject to the conditions under applicable data-protection law, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your information and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact geral@thewalkingparrot.com to exercise your rights. You may lodge a complaint with Portugal’s data-protection authority, CNPD, or another competent supervisory authority. We do not use this website for automated decisions or profiling. Providing enquiry information is voluntary, but we may be unable to arrange a tour without the information needed for your booking.

This notice will be updated when booking integrations or other changes affect how the website handles information.
